Engineering Cycle
 
Admission conditions to the INPT engineering cycle are as follows:
 
1. ACCESS CONDITIONS:
- First year access:
- Candidates who have passed the joint competition of engineering schools (MP, PSI and TSI courses)
- Students who have validated the two years of the integrated preparatory cycle.
- Access via gateways:
First year on open competition:
Holders of the following diplomas:
- DEUG in Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science
- DEUST
- DEUP
- Other recognized equivalent diplomas.
Second year on open competition:
Holders of the following diplomas:
    - Bachelor in Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science
    - Other recognized equivalent diplomas.
Second year on qualification:
Holders of the following diplomas:
    - Engineering degree specialized in Information Technology and Telecommunications.
 
2. PEDAGOGICAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
For the first year entrance contest from university, the pedagogical prerequisites for the DEUG competition are those of the first four semesters of Mathematics or Physics Bachelor, or Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science Bachelor.
For the second year entrance contest, the pre-requirementsinclude Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science Bachelor or the FST degree in Information Technologies and Telecommunications.
For access qualification in the second year of the cycle, the diploma presented must include the necessaryrequirements in order to continue in the INPT’s engineering cycle.
 
3. SELECTION PROCEDURES:
 
  • National Joint Competition
  • Contest specific to the host establishment: DEUG competition and Bachelor access to the first year of the Engineering cycle.
          - Study of the file:
- Obtaining the CUES, DEUG or equivalent, in two years with validation and capitalization of all the modules of each of the first two years.
- Obtaining at least one distinction (TB, B or AB) during the two years or at least two semester mentions during the four semesters (for candidates of the LMD system). An average more than or equal to 12 (twelve) will be considered a distinction.
- Written exam:
The contestis about the program of the first two years of the Faculties of Sciences of Morocco, in the form of two written tests in Mathematics - Computer Science and in Physics. Candidates eligible for writing could be invited for an oral interview.
- Interview:
Selected candidates could be invited for an oral interview.
 
  •  Contest specific to the host institution: Bachelor and FST Mastery contest entrance exam in second year of the Engineering cycle.
- File Study
- For holders of a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics orPhysics or an equivalent diploma (old system), with at least one mention (TB, B or AB) during the undergraduate studies.
- For holdersof abachelor (LMD Math or Physics) in three years with validation and capitalization of the modules of each of the three years, plus having at least four distinctions (TB, B or AB) during the six semesters of the bachelor. An average more than or equal to 12 (twelve) will be considered a mention.
- On file study for candidates holding a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics or Physics or an equivalent diploma (old system) and proof of professional experience of at least three years without interruption until the date of the contest, in IT and/or Telecommunications.
- Written exam:
The contest is about Mathematics and Physics of the PreparatoryClasses to the Engineering Schools and the 1st year program of the INPT’s Training Cycle of Engineers.
The competition will include two written tests in "Mathematics and Computer Science" and in "Physics and Signal Processing"
- Interview:
Selected candidatesmay be convened for an oral interview.
